ncircled by a beautiful 40 acre birch forest, this cozy retreat is a 3 minute drive from Big Bay Town Park beach and lagoon. This new, one of a kind 17-sided home offers complete privacy for couples, families, or hunters. In the spring, summer and fall if you like to fish, canoe, or kayak, the lagoon and lake Superior are only a mile away. If you enjoy the fall colors, then you will love Madeline Island and Birchwood in early October. Throughout the various hunting seasons, hunters are welcomed to hunt on the 20 acres of woodlands. Deer are often seen on the trails.
Winter is a special time of year on Madeline Island. Birchwood's quarter mile private road is adjacent to a major snowmobile route. There is ice fishing off shore on the western side of the Island.
